I became interested in photography around age 10 and my first camera was a Kodak Baby Brownie, using 127 b&w film. Around age 12 I decided to get my Photography Merit Badge in the Boy Scouts. Many an hour was spent in the darkened bathroom, developing and printing my snapshots while my parents banged on the door ..yellng for me to hurry up!
During my teenage years I moved from that Baby Brownie to an Argus twin-lens reflex and then to my first 35mm, an Argus C-3. which I still have as I approach the mid-70's in age. For around ten years following school and some college I did educational and medical photography and then changed fields, eventually retiring from law enforcement. But my love for photography never ceased and the camera collection grew. I have several 35mm cameras, four medium format twin lens cameras, a couple of single lens medium format and three polaroids as well as several digital cameras. The digital I most often use is a Nikon D300 although I also use a couple of Sony Mavica's, a Minolta Dimage A1,,as well as Nikon D70, and D200.
